Engaging Men and Boys in Gender Equality and Health

This toolkit presents conceptual and practical information on engaging men and boys in promoting gender equality and health. The toolkit was assembled by Promundo with guidance from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and MenEngage. MenEngage, an alliance of non-governmental organisations, along with UNFPA and World Health Organization representatives, took part in a 3-day consultation to provide experiences and recommendations  for the toolkit.

In addition to providing examples of programmes that have effectively addressed these challenges, the toolkit offers guidance on advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, and needs-assessment, related to efforts to engage men and boys.
