Aha ye de (It's Good Here): Let's Come Together and Drive Malaria Away for GoodLife Campaign Materials

In June 2011, the Behaviour Change Support (BCS) Project and the Promoting Malaria Prevention and Treatment (ProMPT-Ghana) project, in partnership with the National Malaria Control Programme, the Ghana Health Service, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) launched the "Aha ye de" malaria campaign. "Aha ye de", which in Twi means "it's good here", is aimed at repositioning the use of treated nets as a lifestyle decision while also preventing malaria and saving lives of Ghanaians.
As part of the campaign, the popular Ghana hiplife artist Nana Boor re-recorded his hit single Aha ye de as the Ntom tom be wu re-mix (mosquitoes will die). The campaign seeks to increase the perception of the severity and threats of malaria while empowering people to use malaria prevention and appropriate treatment. The materials developed for this campaign include a number of multimedia and print materials including:
- Leaflets
- Songs and music videos
- Stickers
- Banners/signs
- Flipcharts
- Posters
- Press kits
- Television spots
- Radio spots
English, English Subtitles, Ewe, Hausa.
